Suri: The Seventh Note comes out on October 30, 2026, on PS5, its game director Glen Martin of Tathvamasi Studios announced on the PlayStation Blog. The game is part of PlayStation’s India Hero Project.
What kind of game it is
Suri is a rhythm game. The player follows Ajira across a fantasy island whose look draws on Indian art and architecture; the studio names Rajput forts, Theyyam culture and Himalayan monasteries among its influences. Alongside the rhythm play, there are movement abilities to master and hidden paths to find.
The post puts weight on the music. According to the studio, about 80% of the music in the game is played on analogue instruments rather than synthesised, in a style that mixes hip-hop structure with Indian percussion. It also says it built its own “Rhythm Haptics Engine” for PS5.
